A standalone service includes only the work listed in the quote. It is not a comprehensive review of the complete Form 1040 or unlisted filing obligations.
CPAs, EAs, and other return preparers who already manage the complete return may also engage us only for a specialist calculation or form. Learn about practitioner collaboration.
Tell us the tax year, possible forms, countries, number of funds or transactions, and whether you already have a primary return preparer.
We determine whether a standalone service or complete return fits, then confirm the required information, expected timing, deliverables, and price.
Preparation begins after we receive the required information. If information is missing or additional work appears necessary, we confirm it with you first.
We deliver the completed work for client review. After the facts and amounts are confirmed, integration or filing follows the agreed arrangement.
Before each project begins, we confirm the tax year, service scope, deliverables, price, and exclusions in writing. Clients should provide complete and accurate information and review returns before filing. Website content and preliminary enquiries are not tax advice for any person’s specific circumstances; formal services begin only after the project is accepted and the written engagement is confirmed.
Yes. A standalone service does not require complete Form 1040 preparation. We also provide the necessary main-return integration guidance.
Not automatically. Forms 8621, 3520, 8938, FBAR, and other international filings are confirmed and priced according to the actual facts.
If the actual project falls outside the fixed-price scope—for example, because records are missing, transactions are complex, multiple years are involved, or there is a foreign trust or late filing—we explain the revised scope and price before continuing.
Yes. We can deliver the agreed form, workpapers, and integration notes for your primary preparer to incorporate into the complete return.
Begin with the basic facts. We confirm scope, information needs, timing, and price before accepting the project.
